Times Foundation has announced registration for the award teacher’s. The awrd is known as “Teacher Awards For Innovative Teaching – 2019”. In short its called as TAFIT award. The award will aim to recognize and acknowledge innovative strategies tried by teachers in their teaching to students.
The TAFIT award is open to both the Private and Government school teachers of Karnataka, for subjects – Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Languages (Kannada, Hindi, and English) and is also open to special school teachers of Karnataka. The winners will get award for their innovative methodology in teaching.The award ceremony
will be held at Bangalore, in January 2020.
Things to Attach
Activity or worksheet indicating the innovative idea implemented in teaching-learning.
Assessment along with three mandatory samples of evidences
Student feedback on the lesson learnt
School head’s or peer feedback
Photographs (1 no. only)
Video clips (duration of 5 mins only )
Evidence of the innovative idea having implemented in class
Last date for submission of nomination/application forms and portfolios on 31st December 2019
Out-station teachers shortlisted for the panel round will be reimbursed with bus fare (KSRTC)/ train fare (sleeper coach) on submission of tickets.
Eligibility for TAFIT 2019-20 :
The TAFIT is open to serving / practicing school teachers in Karnataka.
The nominee should be currently teaching in any of the said class (Std. 6 upto Class 10 only)
Teachers teaching class . 6 to . 10 are eligible for this award participation.
