ISRO special program for school students : Last Date to Apply Feb 24.

The reputed organisation of of organisation of of India ISRO Indian satellite Research Organisation is calling for registration for young scientist program 2020. This special programme for School Children is known as YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) 2020. It is scheduled to held on May 2020 that is during 2020 that is during summer holidays of the schools . This is an initiative by ISRO with motive of “Catch them young”.

This is a good opportunity for the school students who are interested to become a scientist in the future or who are having a passion to know and learn about  space. The programme will be of two weeks duration during summer holidays (May 11-22,  2020) and the schedule will include invited talks, experience sharing by the eminent scientists, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions.

The selection will be based o  online registration. The online registration will be open from February 03 to 24, 2020. Those who have finished 8th standard and currently studying in 9th standard (in the academic year 2019-20) will be eligible for the programme.

The selection grade Railway Railway grade Railway Railway based on 8th standard deserts and many other parameters. A separate weightage  is given to rural students.

The interested students can register online through ISRO website from February 03, 2020 (1400 hrs) to 24 February 2020 (1800 hrs).

The selected students can join  one of the ISRO/DOS centres located at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Shillong and Thiruvananthapuram. Accommodation provided at ISRO guest houses/hostels.
